From Mac @ Celebrate recovery....THANK YOU !.....Our daughter and her family are staying with us for the summer while her husband completes his internship with a company. Their two sons love to come down early in the morning. The first thing they ask is, "Papa, will you fix us some pancakes?" I love hearing those words because they are still dependent on us to meet their needs. I know they are growing up and will eventually take care of their own physical needs. So right now, I love fixing pancakes.
In just a couple of hours we will be going to meet with our Forever Family and worship our Heavenly Father. I will be reminded how in my relationship with Him, I will never "grow up" so much that I can do things on my own. At times, I will try and will come up short. And then I have to remember, there is a direct connection between how well things go in my life and how much I rely on Him. Today, I understand that being "grown up" means I rely on Him. Guide my life today, Father, it's yours. Mac CR Natl. Dir. West
